Moreton Bay Island Discovery Voyage

This voyage is planned for the waters around southern Moreton Bay Islands with
plenty of sailing action during the day, but ready to call in to an island pub or sailing club for a cool drink and dinner at the end of each day.

South Passage is a 100-ft gaff-rigged schooner designed to be sailed the traditional
way. You will join with the crew who will literally "show you the ropes"!  Everything is controlled by
hand from the deck...no electric winches here!  Even the anchor is brought up by hand power!  This requires team work - not brute force -so everyone can get involved.

The itinerary will be dependent on the weather but a possible stop overs could be:

Macleay Island's Pub Paradise, Coochiemudlo Island Beach Bar or Little Ship Club at Dunwich on Straddie.

You are welcome to board on the Friday evening before departure - no extra charge for the night's accommodation.  There are plenty of places around Manly for a lovely meal onshore.

The price includes all on-board meals, safety gear, training and accommodation.

No smoking and no alcohol on board please.
