This cruise will give you a chance to see what it was like for the early sailors to navigate the bends of the Brisbane River as we sail the river from New Farm Park down to the Gateway Bridge then back up under the Story Bridge to the Brisbane Botanic Gardens.  Watch the city lights come up as the sun goes down.

If you are after a more relaxing afternoon, you can opt to sit back and enjoy the view as you nibble and sip on your BYO treats, or you can join in take the helm and set the sails.

South Passage - a 100 foot long, gaff-rigged schooner - is a working ship, and you can take part in sailing the vessel as much or as little as you want. No sailing experience is required and South Passage’s crew are always on hand to "show you the ropes".

DEPARTS:  from New Farm River Hub at 4:00pm. Please be ready to board by 3:45 pm.

RETURNS: to New Farm River Hub at 8:00pm.

No glass drinkware please and no smoking.

BYO FOOD & DRINK - there is no food or drinks available to purchase on board.

In accordance with Qld Government regulations, from Friday 17th December South Passage will require all crew and passengers over the age of 16yrs to provide proof of vaccination, or a medical exemption certificate, before boarding.
